Pure Sax Appeal

My name is Scott, I'm a student at Iowa State University. This blog is a collection of personal thoughts and things I like. I do my best to be a modern gentleman.

I'm single, straight, write short stories, have an enthusiasm of cars, I dabble in photography, musician, a socially acceptable nerd, romantic at heart, athletic, movie buff and learning to blog. This should be interesting. :)

Group Projects

They always turn out to be interesting, and quite frankly, this one surprises me.  

I’m leading this group for my systems analysis class.  I’ve worked with two of my group members before, and the other two are new guys that nobody knows.  

I was expecting the two that I know and have worked with before to be the ones on top of things…because I’ve seen them do it before.  But no, the only people that have contacted me this weekend with their finished portion of the assignment I assigned them are the new guys.  I’ve had their stuff ready to go for the last few days.  My “due date” was ten minutes ago.

Sigh.

I got a text from one of the guys that I know last night at 2 am, asking for help on the assignments because he missed the last class.  

Hooray for being surprised in a good way, and hopefully my two friends in this group can get their shit together, because they’re not off to a good start.
